If reality won't work, maybe a game will?

My mariners thought for the day... (Okay, for the year thus far. I've been remiss.)

According to Wikipedia, the Seattle Mariners are majority owned by Nintendo, the video game company from Japan. And... they haven't been in a World Series, in... like... ever. So maybe if there's a virtual World Series, we could at least virtually win it? Or something? I'd buy tickets to that.
